CALLING OUT ALL WEST COAST RIDERS...

Round Three: Sparks, NV on June 20-21 at Sparks Marina Park
Round Four: St. George, UT on June 26-27 at Sand Hollow State Park

Pro Watercross is extending an invitation to all competitors on the west coast who may not have raced on the Pro Watercross tour before... This is an amazing site for racing, nice beach, clean water,  the race site is just steps away from the hotel and there are lots of things to see and do in the Sparks/Reno area.
  
Why is it important for west coast riders to attend? As we work to move the sport forward and peak the interest of major television networks (CBS) making attendance paramount, these networks want to see full lines of rider. Pro Watercross is doing its part to create great events at great venues and we have been building steadily on the east side of the country. We are calling all of the west coast out, be part of the growth... You wanted it, we're here, it is time for you do your part... get out and race!



CHANGES IN THE TYPICAL SCHEDULE:
The Pro Show will be held SATURDAY at 6:00 - 8:00 pm: this is being done to introduce more of the Sparks/Reno residents to the excitement on watercross... Cooler evening temperatures will bring out a bigger crowd to watch. Sunday's Pro Show with be at its regular time frame 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

TENTATIVE CLASSES FOR THE PRO SHOW:
Pro-Am Ski GP, Pro-Am Ski Stock, Pro-Am Runabout Open, Pro-Am Runabout Stock, Sport GP. Competitors in these classes must check in no later than 8:00 AM on Saturday, June 20. Practice begins immediately following riders meeting in the morning and brief riders meeting and additional practice for the above classes starting at 4:45 PM (roll call will be taken at both riders meetings - Anyone arriving after roll call has been completed or not at all will be penalized with a dead engine start on their first race of the pro show.

Note: Pro-Am Ski GP will be qualifying on Saturday evening for one main event on Sunday. All competitors in this class must compete in the qualifying heats in order to make it to the main event on Sunday.

Amateur classes will be on the standard time schedule - one moto on Saturday and one moto on Sunday per class. Saturday will be much shorter with the Pro Show being moved to the evening.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR SPARKS, NV...
Registration: 2:00 pm-6:00 pm on Friday and 6:45 am-8:00 am. Make sure you preregister for the event, there is an additional $20 per class charge for anyone registering on Saturday. In addition, anyone arriving after 8:00 am will incur an additional $25 penalty charge for the late arrival. 

NEVADA AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES (AIS) DECAL:
All competitors' personal watercrafts will be required to carry the Nevada Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) decal at the cost of $20 per boat. Decals can be purchased on site on Friday: 12:00-4:00PM & Saturday 7:00-10:00AM at the Gazebo. 

These decals can be purchased online or you can purchase directly from the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) onsite at Sparks Marina Park. The NDOW will be located at the park's gazebo over the course of the event weekend. If you choose to buy a decal online, you MUST bring the receipt of purchase showing your assigned decal number.

The NDOW will also be on site to perform free-of-charge watercraft aquatic invasive species removal and certify boats.  Spark's Parks Dept will be providing a place for the "cleaning rover" in the Western Village lot that will be visible.  The service will be available for watercraft entering and when exiting the marina.

The fine for NOT having an AIS decal is $100 per vessel.

Riders Meeting: Roll call will begin at 8:20 am.

Devotional: Team Faith will be holding a devotional on Saturday and Sunday immediately following the Rider Meeting, everyone is welcome.

Practice will begin at 9:30 am, practice order is as follows: Pro Ski, Pro Runabout, Open Ski, Open Runabout, Sport, and Junior Ski.
