Pro Watercross and Hart County Chamber of Commerce today announced a three-year renewal for a Pro Watercross Tour Stop to be part of the Annual Wet and Wild Weekend Festival. The Wet and Wild Festival is the fifth stop of the national tour and will take place August 13-14 this year at Long Point Recreational Area in Hartwell, Georgia.
"Hartwell Georgia is excited to welcome the Pro Watercross Tour back to Lake Hartwell for the 6th year." Nicki Meyer's of the Hart Chamber of Commerce remarked today. "The Wet and Wild event at Long Point Recreation Area is one of the best viewing venues for the races. We have great fun with the racers, their crew and families and are thrilled to host the Triple Crown of Watercross leg of the Tour" continued Meyer.
The Tour Stop, presented as the Triple Crown of Watercross will be live streamed on Saturday and Sunday of the event during the "Pro Show" showcasing the tour's top competitors in both closed course racing and freestyle. The Tour Stop highlights will make the final cut for a ½ hour TV show airing four weeks after the event on Regional Sports Networks. In the United States and Canada, Regional Sports Networks (RSN) are a cable television channel that presents sports programming to a local market and geographical region.
